Summary

Deals Hub does not need an account. We do not sell your data. Saved deals and settings stay on your phone.

What the app stores on your phone

• Saved deals and a copy of their details so they open offline only while the deal is active.
• Settings such as light or dark mode and notification choices.
• A random device identifier used only if you choose to watch a deal for price drops. It is not linked to your name, phone number or email.

What our server receives

• Normal technical request data (for example IP address and time) handled by Cloudflare when the app loads deals. We do not use it to identify you.
• If you turn on price-drop watching: the random device identifier and the deal you watch.

Hosting and seven-day retention

Cloudflare runs the API and website. Appwrite stores deal records, private temporary images, small private thumbnails and optional APK releases. A published deal becomes unavailable at most seven days after its first publication. Edits, saving and republishing do not extend that deadline.

Temporary originals are deleted after successful publication; failed deletions are retried automatically. Thumbnails and related deal, watch and alert data are removed by scheduled cleanup after expiry. Provider delays or outages can delay physical deletion, but expired deals are not returned by the API. Drafts and rejected deals also have limited retention. APK releases and your non-deal preferences are not seven-day deal records.

The app removes expired saved deals, watches and cached details rather than retaining an expired archive. It checks deadlines while active, on restore and on resuming. If Android suspends/closes the app, physical device-cache and notification-drawer cleanup runs on the next permitted execution; expired notifications cannot reopen an expired deal.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and require Android permission. This version checks alerts while open and requests background checks with a 30-minute minimum interval. Android controls the timing and may delay background work; there is no push service. You can turn notifications off in the app or in Android settings at any time.

Links to merchants

When you tap a deal button, your phone opens the merchant website or app. That merchant has its own privacy policy. Some links are affiliate links, see the affiliate disclosure.

Children

Deals Hub is a shopping information app and is not directed at children.

Your choices

You can clear saved deals and cached data in the app settings or by uninstalling the app. To ask a question or request deletion of watch data, write to vishnuteja1614@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
